Hoy Pinoys and Filipino Food Fans!

We just wanted to let everyone know that The Manila Machine will be appearing on Kababayan LA on August 20! That’s right true believers, this Friday Southern California’s First Filipino Food Truck will be featured on Southern California’s only daily Filipino television show.

For those not in the know, Kababayan LA is more than just a local television show on channel 18 (LA18 TV). Kababayan LA actually airs in more than 6 million homes across the Southland, so we are very excited to be a part of the show this week.

In fact, if you’re a regular watcher of Kababayan LA, you’ve probably already heard The Manila Machine mentioned a few times already on air. Here’s a clip of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on Kababayan LA. Although we’ve been mentioned a few times on Kababayan LA, this Friday will mark our first actual appearance on the show. We’ll be taping our segment with Kababayan LA Host, Jannelle So, during lunch on Friday. So if anyone wants, feel free to drop by the truck at KSCI TV studios this Friday at noon or after. We’ll definitely be taping during this time, so you might even get your mug on TV.
